Mataya Dade is a triple-negative breast cancer survivor who received her diagnosis at 30, plunging her into a whirlwind year of chemo, surgeries, infusions, IVF—the works. Hearing she was cancer-free marked both an ending and a new beginning, as she faced an unexpected wave of anxiety, left to navigate life with far less support. While friends and family celebrated her “return to normal,” she realized there was no going back. Recognizing a gap in relatable, non-clinical resources for people in survivorship, she set out to create that space herself.
As host of You Survived! Now What?, Mataya brings her experience and fresh zest for life, fostering a space that embraces both joy and the complexities of recovery. She’s here to provide answers, support, and connection for those finding their own way after cancer.
